Operator, Packing x1 - Premier Cape Town Mill

Job Description

• To package finished product according to quality specifications while achieving operational throughput requirements within a safe and hygienic environment.
• Pack finished product on various FAWEMA packing machines.
• Reach production target per shift
• Ensure continuous quality & weight monitoring and recording of results.
• Ensure food safety and hygienic work area is maintained at all times.
• Report all production downtime to shift Supervisor timeously
• Record and analyse downtime reasons on Operator sheet.
• Deep cleaning of machine and area to improve housekeeping and control infestation
• Adhoc duties requested by HOD and Packing / Superintendent

• Invocom participation and facilitation
• 6-day position
• May be required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays as per roster
• May be required to work shifts and overtime

Experience Requirements

At least 3 -4 years -experience in a similar position in the FMCG / Milling industry.
