Full Job Description - Read Carefully
The Social Media Manager will manage Pam Golding Properties Western Cape Regions online presence by developing strategy, producing good content, analysing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns.
The role is responsible for:
- Building Brand Equity and re-enforce the luxury positioning of PGP
- Drive user engagement
- Generate leads

Key Responsibilities
- The delivery of hyper-local Facebook & Instagram on-page content and off-page paid campaigns for Agent profiling, Suburb profiling, Property profiling and Seller and Buyer lead generation for the Offices.
- Maintaining a positive online reputation via timely community management of the PGP Office FB pages and Regional IG page.
- Building relationships with internal stakeholders through a pragmatic style of delivery i.e. Office Manager, Admins, Agents, Head Office.
- Playing an active role in supporting the region’s agents and implementing the regional and suburb hyper-local marketing strategy
- Developing and implementing a strategy for the agents’ personal social media channels
- Maintaining and monitoring the Google My Business listings for all offices in the region
- Manage any other social media channels that may be added in future e.g. LinkedIn, WhatsApp for Business
Key Competencies
- Good competency in Adobe Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator beneficial
- Proficient in MS Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, HootSuite, Google Analytics
- Have a solid understanding of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp for Business and Google marketing principles and best practice campaign execution.
- Commercially minded with a passion for optimization techniques to increase conversion.
- Deadline driven whilst maintaining quality standards of service and delivery.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relationships with business stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent eye for design, including familiarity with design requirements for social platforms.

Education & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in running organic, boosted and dark campaigns across FB and IG – either in an Agency or Corporate environment, and providing detailed reporting on these.
- DIploma or Bachelors Degree or any other relevant tertiary qualification
- Good competency in Adobe Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator beneficial
Knowledge & Skills Required
- A good competency and prior experience in programmes such as Adobe Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator will be beneficial
- Proficient in MS Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, HootSuite, Google Analytics
- Have a solid understanding of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp for Business and Google marketing principles and best practice campaign execution.
