The role is responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives, complexity reduction programs and technological capability building in Vertiv. The position will work collaboratively with site leaders, central functions and the management teams to implement operational improvements that focus on improving quality, productivity, labour, and cost-saving efficiencies while focusing on the standardization and global Vertiv operations footprint.

On top of continuous improvement, it is responsible for Technology and Advanced Manufacturing solutions towards world-class manufacturing capabilities. This role will serve as a change agent for developing and encouraging a culture that is driven by safety, discipline, transparency, and accountability.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Achieve strategic regional Objectives to drive product delivery. Ensure operational activities within the Region by capitalizing on best practices and by applying perfect execution drivers in the Region.
  • Manage cost structure and execution in order to maximize gross margin within the Region.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and service level performance.
  • Actively cooperate with sales managers and sales organization in order to achieve regional goals.
  • Deliver operational improvement in coordination with EMEA by fostering a culture of lean efficiency and fast processes. Build a network of relationships with all departments in order to execute and deliver at best.
  • Apply corporate processes (i.e. Oracle IT System…) effectively. Comply with regional/country regulations.
  • Guarantee capacity and competency so as to provide high quality service.
  • Collect, escalate and give solutions to potential customers' complaints and make sure processes for managing it are in place.
  • Foster a culture of uncompromised safety.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Entrance Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree; Technology focus (Engineering, Science, Software, IT) preferred. Masters is a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in a similar environment and position.
  • Previous experience with global matrixed companies
  • Proven track record in delivering financial benefits from various productivity improvement initiative
  • Keep understanding of business fundamentals in a global manufacturing environment. Functional
  • expertise across multiple business disciplines (i.e. marketing, engineering, sales, etc.) is preferred
