A vacancy exists in our Restaurant Excellence Department for a Restaurant Excellence Coordinator – reporting to the Ops Foundation Specialist.
The purpose of this role will be to drive restaurant excellence by supplying analytical information and support for System B processes and systems (step change initiatives through technology and innovation) to Operations Departments and Franchisee community.
This role will allow access to various operations systems, platforms and databases which will allow owners of large amounts of valuable information that can be beneficially applied to various projects aimed at improving customer and team member experience processes and ultimately KFC performance.

Key Performance Areas:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the DSR (AC, SS & PM), YUMNET, HME systems and monitoring of performance. Ensure Franchisee queries are addressed and resolved professionally 30%\
- Provide detailed reporting on following systems: Digital Success Routines compliance and performance (AC, SS, PM), HME/YUMNET Speed to Operations community and the leadership team 20%
- Undertake other special project work and analysis as and when required 15%
- Maintain and update operations tools, data bases and manage user access. Cascade new tools/ changes to the system if applicable 15%
- Assist with internal/external communications process cross-functionally to improve effectiveness and alignment to the KFC system 10%
- Develop or review CSL’s (standardised documentation for procedures and training) for all System B projects in order to improve system-wide consistent operations execution that drives customer loyalty 10%
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline such as Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or similar

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in operations/production environment
- Food industry experience highly advantageous
- Multi-unit food service experience and exposure to restaurants and operations preferred
- Understanding of the principles of back-of-house design, systems and processes is advantageous
- Aptitude for operations
- Results orientated, structured and methodical person who pays attention to detail
Competencies/Skills:
- Ability to work autonomously, to self-manage, meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise own work in line with business objectives.
- Ability to influence others and work cross-functionally.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all partners.
- High communication skills across multi-level stakeholders, both oral and written.
- Clear presentation/training style with excellent facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to interact at senior levels whilst being willing and able to operate “hands on” at the restaurant level.
