Security Officer at Mediclinic

Requirements

Registered with SIRA as a security officer: minimum Grade C Grade 12 qualification is required Previous experience in security will be an added advantage Valid Code 08 licence required, PDP licence will be an advantage Proficient in both English and Afrikaans Excellent client service orientation Excellent communication ability Good working knowledge of hospital and surrounds would be an advantage

Key Outputs

• Patrol of hospital premises
• Staff searches Investigate and report any irregularities
• Collect and deliver blood samples
• Access control Monitoring of CCTV Emergency evacuations
• Act as corridor monitor and assist clients with directions
• Act as information source in terms of general surrounds of the hospital and accompany clients to correct area should it be necessary
• Assist with general client queries when necessary
• After hours driver duties
• Performing porter duties on an ad hoc basis
• Functioning as a team player and promoting co-operation
