This is an exciting opportunity for talented and energized General Assistant – Traffic Counters to join a leading infrastructure consultancy and contribute to the growth and development of a business with a reputation for technical excellence and strong client relationships.

REPORTS TO

Section Manager or any other person appointed to supervise him/her from time to time.

PRIMARY POSITION PURPOSE

As General Assistant – Traffic Counter, your primary duties will be to count vehicles at your designated node.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for accurate counting of vehicles and completion of the counting sheets in neat handwriting.

• Resolve all problems experienced during the counting period with the assistance of the Survey Supervisor.
• Do follow-up work to finalise all incorrect and/or incomplete counting sheets.
• Hand in all correctly completed counting sheets to the Survey Supervisor daily
• Any other duties assigned

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Completion of Grade 10
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Prior traffic counting experience is advantageous
• Travelling and working away from home is a requirement of this role
