POSITION Security Officer
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Protection of Denel Overberg Test Range client property and personnel.
- Access control at various entrance points.
- Patrols on foot or vehicle as instructed
- Guard duties at various points as instructed.
- Fire fighting after hours.
- An effective response to alarms.
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Code B driver’s license.
- PSRA Registration – Grade C.
- Firearms competency certificate recommended.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- The candidate must be prepared to work 12-hour shifts.
- The candidate must be physically fit and healthy.
- No stress-related or sleeping disorders.
- High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well-developed writing skills.
- Well disciplined.
- Team player.
- Highly motivated.
- Trustworthiness.
