Mahlako is a 100% black women-owned investment and advisory firm with a stellar track record, founded by two dynamic African women who are infrastructure investment and advisory specialists. The firm has deep investment and advisory expertise, built through a demonstrable project development, deal origination and execution track record since inception in 2008.

Role Specification

This position will be based in Johannesburg but might involve some short-term travel from time to time. This position fills an integral role that involves working closely with the Advisory, Financial Services and Investments teams to execute a wide variety of challenging and exciting engagements.

We Are Looking For A Team Member Who:

• Is seeking a dynamic role requiring a mix of technical and soft skills;

• Is an analytical and logical thinker with a strong attention to detail;

• Is a strong team player with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of our client’s goals; and

• Is highly motivated and energized by participating in projects involving development of critical national infrastructure assets that have a tangible and lasting impact on society

Our Interns Will Receive:

• Dedicated training in the planning, development, delivery and operation of major economic and social infrastructure projects;

• Industry exposure through rotations in the Advisory, Financial Services, and Investments divisions; and

• Hands-on experience through collaboration with other team members in delivering our services to clients, as well as identifying and exploring new business opportunities

To Qualify for the Role, You Must:

• Be in possession of an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Science, Technology, Engineering or Arts; and

• Be a South African citizen

The successful candidate for this position will enjoy working with a market-leading team and work on the redevelopment of South Africa's core infrastructure.
