Job Purpose:

Ensure that all customer queries (Councils and Attorneys) in eThekwini are dealt with in an efficient manner and provide a high level of service to promote the e4 PropTech Government and Municipal (Rates) Services’ products and services. The incumbent should have product knowledge and insight into council operations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with all councils within the eThekwini region.
  • Support e4 PropTech Rates products and services to attorneys and Councils.
  • Assist customers in understanding their system (Attorneys and Councils).
  • Identify problems and implement solutions or escalate where necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and systems.

  • Represent e4 PropTech and deal with internal and external parties in a professional manner and well-presented appearance.
  • Communicate courteously with customers by telephone, free format message, e-mail, and face-to-face interaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.
  • Meet with other managers to discuss possible improvements for support.
  • Keep abreast of e4 PropTech products or services.
  • Check to ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve customers problems.
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Obtain and scrutinize all relevant information in order to assess validity of complaints and to determine cause.
  • Arrange meetings with the Municipal Services Manager and the Councils on a quarterly basis.
  • Assist the Municipal Services Manager to schedule meetings with new Municipalities and accompany him to conduct presentation(s) and to build relationships with these councils.
  • Assist the Municipal Services Manager in implementing Rates in newly signed up Councils in the eThekwini Region and other designated areas.
  • Manage user end to end testing or any other testing to be conducted in any Council in the eThekwini Region and other designated areas.

Minimum requirements:

  • Related Tertiary Qualification
  • 4-5 years experience in sales and customer services.
  • Reliable transport with a valid driver’s license.
