Area of Speacialization : 

To provide and advisory and support service to line management regarding Occupational Hygiene & Safety (OHS) requirements within a business unit

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the implementation of Occupational Hygiene & Safety (OHS) risk control strategies and processes.
  • Provide a professional Occupational Hygiene & Safety consultancy /advisory service to management and staff.
  • Develop and implement risk profiles.
  • Ensure compliance to legislative and governance requirements of the business unit.
  • Advice on training needs analysis to provide training, information and instruction to the employees and contractors to meet Eskom OHS and Legal department requirements.
  • Ensure awareness regarding the safe use and of electricity by members of the public

Minimum Requirements

  • National Diploma in Safety Management OR Environmental Health.

Experience:

  • 1 Year related Experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Occupational Hygiene, Safety & Environmental principles
  • Understanding of policies and practices
