Job Description

As the Executive Assistant, you will support the Chief Executive Officer in handling various Secretarial and Administrative functions as it relates to the daily operation of the business, where you will be responsible for:

  • Providing active support to business in various communications, marketing and customer liaison events such as typing layouts of articles / briefs / reports of communication items
  • Full secretarial function which includes diary management and travel arrangement's including international and domestic flights
  • Ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times

This role is based at our Corporate Office at a Band 7 level and reports to the Chief Executive Officer – Platinum.


  • Matric with a relevant qualification for the role
  • Communications qualification advantageous

Required skills and Experience:

  • Mining industry background would be an advantage
  • At least 2 years related experience
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement and management on an executive level
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive diary management
  • Exceptional organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and business communication software
  • Be able to work flexible hours
  • Valid drivers license
