To assist the Assistant Manager: Fixed Assets with the management, capitalisation, transfer, sale and disposal of assets

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the capitalising Fixed Assets
  • Process the disposal with and without proceeds of fixed assets
  • Assist the Assistant Manager: Fixed Assets to run the monthly depreciation run by company code
  • Review and capture the Asset transfers (excl. Orion)
  • Processing of all Orion assets (process particular to Orion assets) – Transfers and invoicing
  • Internal order creation and management for all approved capex projects and stores
  • Assist with the fixed asset register review.
  • Comparing the fixed asset register to BPC/BPP and SAP, investigating any differences.

  • Prepare profit or loss reconciliation based on reporting requirement
  • Run and distribute Depreciation Forecasts to accountants
  • Assist Capital Management team with audit requests

Minimum Requirements

  • Accounting diploma or advanced certificate (NQF 6)
  • Matric/Gr 12
  • Intermediate level of excel skills SAP knowledge essential
  • 2 years’ experience in a corporate finance environment
  • Proven work experience as a financial administrator or similar role
  • Fixed assets experience would be advantageous
