Part Time Cleaner at Doctors without Borders

Doctors without Borders (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation committed to two objectives: providing medical assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion, natural and man-made disasters; and speaking out about the plight of the populations assisted.

JOB OVERVIEW

To assist the organisation in day-to-day errands as well as maintaining a clean office environment on a part-time basis. (4 hours per day, 4 days per week)

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure that the office space inclusive of the kitchen is kept in a clean and orderly fashion.
• To ensure that the office floors are cleaned regularly and dustbins emptied.
• To cleaning individual workspaces
• To ensure that the guest area/reception area/lunchroom/disabled bathroom is kept in a clean and tidy state
• To collect all the recyclable paper and store for collection
• To assist with office admin duties as and when required

JOB SPECIFICATION

EXPERIENCE

• 1-2 years' practical cleaning experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Knowledge of the use of specific domestic cleaning chemicals
• Housekeeping skills
• Good organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
