Howden Power, a Division of Howden Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced Office Administrator to oversee administrative activities for the Howden site office in Secunda.

 

What needs to be done?

  • Site agent: Responsible for all badging of employees and vehicles.
  • Ensure all Howden employees on the Customer site are booked for yearly medicals and induction, and keeping track of expiry dates.
  • Responsible for all orders for the site.
  • Ensure all invoicing is done on the Ariba system.
  • Responsible for JCE: estimating and tracking hours before closing

  • Requesting job numbers for each job.
  • Ensure that all heat maps are filled in daily with the consolidated report is send on Fridays to Customer and Howden Management.
  • Booking in of visitors
  • Ensure that timesheets and attendance are completed on a daily basis.
  • SOX Compliance: Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley and AX controls

 

What do you need to bring?

  • Matric/ Grade 12.
  • Proficiency in MS office environment.
  • Formal Secretarial/ Office Administration qualification.
  • At least three years’ experience in an administrative function.
  • Good communication skills and customer orientated.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Good planning and organising skills.
  • Knowledge of the JCE system.
