The company’s Finished Goods Department is looking for a Truck Driver to do deliveries from and to the external warehouse. The ideal candidate has experience in the FMCG industry. The job incumbent will report to the Logistics Manager.
Duties:

- Adhering to food safety rules and regulations while transporting products
- Adhering to and implementing standard operating procedures
- Loading and unloading trucks with raw materials and finished goods at internal and external warehouses
- Performing daily truck inspections and maintaining working condition and cleanliness of truck
- Assisting in planning routes for deliveries and pickups

- Maintaining accurate and detailed log-books, visual inspection checklists, order sheets, hygiene checklists and cleaning checklists
- Adhering to road safety rules and regulations
- Operating forklift as and when required
- Performing cleaning and sanitation procedures in truck according to standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- Matric qualification (with Maths)
- Code 10 (C1) Truck drivers’ licence
- Forklift licence
- Warehouse logistics experience will be advantageous
- At least 3 years’ experience driving 10-tonne trucks
- Good geographical knowledge of the Western Cape
