General Worker - Cleaner at Eskort Limited

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the store
• Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary
• Cleaning spills, broken glass etc. and other messes up as quickly as possible
• Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels
• Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
• Daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors, emptying bins and vacuuming
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum customer service levels are maintained
• Performing additional duties as and when required by managementClosing date for Online Applications: 30 June 2020

Minimum Skills And Knowledge Required

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
• Minimum of 6 months retail experience
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Ability to stand, walk and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment
• Proactivity and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Helpful, polite approach to resolving complaints and assisting customers if required
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
