Role Outline
To perform duties in line with agreed performance standards and contribute to the ongoing improvement of administrative processes. To manage, control, and assess all stock returned to the company in accordance with operational policies and procedures. To ensure all documentation is collected, collated, and accurately presented in line with company standards, supporting the efficient and customer-focused delivery of goods.
Key Tasks
- Creating STO’s for TSP returns from the various TSP depots.
- Managing and coordinating the inflow and outflow of stock into the GRA area.
- Checking of good stock from GRA and rework’s that goes back to warehouse.
- Make sure that housekeeping is done daily.
- Assist with the training of stock control assistants as and when necessary.
- Inventory stock balance.
- To contribute to a productive working environment.
- To work within any operating area as determined by Management and the needs of the Business.
- De stacking, labelling, sorting products and taking out damages.
- Ensure that damages are kept to a minimum.
- Sorting and collating damages on a daily basis.
- Be actively involved in and support change initiatives.
- Honesty – pride in your job and an eye for detail.
- Ensure housekeeping in the area is up to standard.
- Operate with integrity and ethical values.
- Perform tasks according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Resolve all stock issues to ensure checking is completed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
- Participation in warehouse stock counts and monthly counts.
- Reports all issues and problems to the respective Supervisors and Controllers.
- Inspect stock integrity.
- Handle goods with care to minimise damages.
- Maintain a high level of hygiene in the work area.
- Complete tasks timeously.
- Adhere to the Unit’s SHE rules and best practices.
- Ensure that product safety, quality and integrity is not compromised.
- Report any persons’ behaviour that may impact on the safety, quality and integrity of the stored product.

Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Matric.
Experience:
- 1 – 3 years in warehouse/logistics/inventory administration.
Functional Competencies
- Computer literacy.
- Communication skills.
- Ability to work within a rapidly changing environment.
- Deadline driven.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Achieve work targets and is willing to take on additional roles/responsibilities.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Working in a team environment.
