Area of specialization:
To plan and manage the security function of an operating unit (OU) or business unit (BU).
Position/Task Grade: M15
Department: Security
Business Unit: Tutuka Power Station
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and coordinate business/operating units security/operation and customer service
- Develop, implement and maintain the business/operating units performance management plan
- Implement and coordinate the business/operating units security applications and operations, crime prevention, protection of assets, infrastructure, systems and technology
- Manage external security service providers
- Implement and maintain the business/operating units security change management programme.
- Manage the relevant internal, external stakeholder committees
- Manage human resources and provide an advisory
- Coordinate vetting and related contractor screening process

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
- B Degree/B Tech/Advanced Diploma, National Higher Diploma in Security Management/Policing/Forensic/Correctional Services/Criminal Justice/Law at NQF7 with 360 credits
Related Minimum Experience:
- 5 years experience in a Supervisory/management in security environment
