About The Sales Learnership Programme
This 18-month Sales Learnership Programme offers unemployed youth an opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience within the insurance industry. The programme is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in sales and customer service who want to build a career in financial services.

Successful learners will receive structured onthejob training and theoretical learning. Subject to performance, participants may also obtain a Wealth Management qualification at NQF Level 4 while working closely with experienced professionals in the insurance sector.
Duties And Responsibilities
Learners appointed to the programme will be expected to:
- Complete all theoretical learning modules and assessments
- Submit all administrative and reporting tasks on time
- Compile, collate and distribute documentation according to required standards
- Handle client queries professionally to deliver excellent customer service
- Screen and route queries to relevant stakeholders and assist with resolutions
- Maintain office housekeeping and professional workplace standards
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the Metropolitan Sales Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- Between 18 and 35 years old
- South African citizen by birth
- Currently unemployed
- From a previously disadvantaged background
- People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply
Key Competencies
Successful candidates should demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Strong attention to detail with good planning and time management skills
- Numerical reasoning and analytical ability
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Computer literacy
