Your Purpose

You build reports and monitor data quality while supporting a Program Manager to ensure the supply of suitable JumpStart candidates is maintained, resulting in the achievement and maintenance of feasible employment rates. You can work on multiple projects and are responsible for producing insights from raw data to inform business decisions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monthly and quarterly generation of reports of JumpStart candidates on the programme and employment with Employer Partners.
  • Work with the JumpStart team to conduct a full lifecycle analysis to monitor performance (M&E), quality control as well as business analytics that generate robust, equitable and meaningful data.
  • Ad-hoc data analytics support to the JumpStart programmes.

  • Preparation of working papers and reports in support of the data analytics performed.
  • Contribute towards the completion of the Annual Integrated Report of the Mr Price Foundation.
  • Create consultative conditions by building good working relationships so that advice is sought after.
  • Drafting reports that comply with the standards of the Employer Partners supported by adequate evidence.
  • Analyse regional JumpStart talent pool lists to identify trends, risks and opportunities and make necessary recommendations to address them accordingly.
  • Analyse and compare available suitable JumpStart candidates to regional demands by Employer Partner.
  • Using analysed data, propose appropriate response plans (regional training, focus groups, Employer Partner engagement, etc.)
  • Analyse the success rates of candidates through the JumpStart programme and identify any barriers/blockages and/or opportunities for improvements. (Sourcing, facilitation, cluster locations, assessments, work experience etc)
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
  • Present analytics and analysis to management

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in business analysis or a related field
  • BCom - Developmental Economics, Mathematics, Statistics
  • CSI/Socio-Economic experience advantageous
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
