To provide the necessary administrative support and assistance required between the finance and operations departments.

Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role:  

  • Provide full communications and administrative support to the Finance department
  • Perform data-entry, printing and filling duties
  • Assist on any ad-hoc tasks as required by the department
  • Communicate with department heads, on work status and any internal issues that arise
  • To assist with the indexing and archiving of documentation
  • To assist with the capturing of invoices on the system
  • To escalate queries to the appropriate areas for resolution and follow up
  • To assist with the reconciliation of accounts

Requirements

A little about who you are:

  • Relevant Finance qualification from a recognised FET/HET/University
  • Accounting knowledge
  • Computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Competencies:

  • Good written and verbal communication, as well as good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and situations
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent work ethic
