School Administration Assistant - Academics Limited

School administration assistants are required to support on an ad-hoc basis across schools in Crewe and the surrounding areas.

This role is to cover short-term absences and could be across multiple schools.

Ideally, you will have school-based experience and worked with a variety of school IT packages.

Duties Include:

• Provide general clerical support
• IT-based tasks requiring knowledge of various ICT packages.
• Maintain manual and computerized records and management information systems using inhouse schools systems such as SIMs
• Deal with inquiries either by telephone or face-to-face
• liaise with parents / carers/staff
• Maintain stocks and supplies
• Processing orders, collecting monies, and undertake basic reconciliation, such as for petty cash.

You will hold the following skills:

• Strong IT skills with knowledge of various packages
• Previous experience of working with school-based systems such as SIMs is advantageous
• A team player who can work on their own initiative and meet deadlines
• Organized and efficient working to high standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Hold an enhanced DBS or be happy for one to be put in process
