Code 10 (C1) Truck Driver at Joubert & Associates

The company’s Finished Goods Department is looking for a Truck Driver to do deliveries from and to the external warehouse. The ideal candidate has experience in the FMCG industry. The job incumbent will report to the Logistics Manager.

Duties:

• • Adhering to food safety rules and regulations while transporting products
  • Adhering to and implementing standard operating procedures
  • Loading and unloading trucks with raw materials and finished goods at internal and external warehouses
  • Performing daily truck inspections and maintaining working condition and cleanliness of truck
  • Assisting in planning routes for deliveries and pickups

• • Maintaining accurate and detailed log-books, visual inspection checklists, order sheets, hygiene checklists and cleaning checklists
  • Adhering to road safety rules and regulations
  • Operating forklift as and when required
  • Performing cleaning and sanitation procedures in truck according to standard operating procedures

 

Requirements:

• Matric qualification (with Maths)
• Code 10 (C1) Truck drivers’ licence
• Forklift licence
• Warehouse logistics experience will be advantageous
• At least 3 years’ experience driving 10-tonne trucks
• Good geographical knowledge of the Western Cape
