Purpose of the Job
To assist the stock control controller to ensure optimum stock levels in the warehouse. Three positions are available.
Key Performance Areas include:
- Assist outsource staff in implementing Supervisor instructions
- Implement Stock control strategy
- Cycle count execution monitoring
- Stock take results achieved

Job Objectives
- Ensure that outsourced staff comply with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and good warehouse practice principles
- Ensure outsourced staff implement Supervisor instructions
- Manage Storage capacity in designated department
- Ensuring FIFO system adhered to
- Monitor inventory discrepancies and the action of such (Stock Investigations)
- Preventing damages
- Daily cycle counts maintained
- Ensure no stock on hold
- Execute weekly cycle count report
- Bi-yearly stock take implemented
- Ensure all Stock take prep is implemented for an easier count
- Ensure general housekeeping of sector maintained, including labeling of bins
Qualifications
- Grade 12 qualification
Experience
- Experience in a similar environment and industry an added advantage

- Pharmaceutical product knowledge an added advantage
- Good communication skills
- Good analytical and problem solving ability
- Good numerical skills
- Computer literate: G Suite
- Attention to detail
