Momentum Health is inviting unemployed youth to apply for a 12-month Contact Centre Learnership Programme that offers valuable workplace experience in the medical aid and insurance industry. This opportunity is ideal for young people in the Western Cape who are eager to build a career in healthcare administration and client services.

About the Learnership
This work-based learning programme combines theoretical training with practical workplace experience. On successful completion, learners will obtain an Occupational Certificate: Health Care Benefits Advisor (NQF Level 5, SAQA ID 105030). While permanent employment is not guaranteed, the learnership provides a strong foundation for a career in medical aid administration and the insurance sector.

Duties and Responsibilities
Learners will attend classroom sessions and on-the-job training, gain knowledge of Momentum Health products and systems, complete a Portfolio of Evidence and logbooks, and take part in assessments required by the SETA. Learners are expected to conduct themselves professionally and uphold Momentum Metropolitan values throughout the programme.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A completed Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- At least 40% for Mathematics or 60% for Mathematical Literacy
- A minimum of 50% for English and one other South African language
- Computer literacy (advantageous)
- Availability to commit to a 12-month programme
People with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should upload a doctor’s letter confirming their disability. Certified copies of your Matric certificate and ID (not older than three months) must be submitted.
Additional Criteria
Candidates must:
- Be South African citizens aged 18 to 30
- Be available from 01 February 2026 to 31 January 2027
- Be able to commute independently to the workplace
- Not be studying at a tertiary institution during the learnership
- Not have completed the same learnership before
