We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer Manager to lead and manage a team of talented software engineers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions while fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development for team members.
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project requirements and priorities.

Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring best practices in software development, architecture, and design.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve development processes.
Process Improvement:
- Implement and optimize development workflows, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and quality assurance practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between the engineering team and other departments, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate business goals into technical solutions and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as [Insert Relevant Languages, e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.].
- Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., Jira, Git).
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern software architectures (e.g., microservices) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing distributed or remote teams.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and analytics tools.
