Role context
The Sales and Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising automation strategies to enhance sales and marketing effectiveness. This role is highly technical and involves leveraging CRM, email marketing, and automation tools to streamline workflows, improve lead nurturing, and drive conversions. The ideal candidate is a data-driven professional with expertise in digital marketing, sales processes, and automation platforms.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and improve customer engagement.
- Implement and optimize CRM integrations to enhance sales and marketing alignment.
- Design, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns, ensuring high deliverability and engagement.
- Utilize automation tools to score, segment, and personalize customer interactions (Marketo).
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Conduct A/B testing to improve conversion rates and campaign effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance automation strategies.
- Analyze customer data and behavior to inform marketing strategies and improve targeting.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop integrated campaigns that align with business objectives.
- Facilitate training sessions for team members on automation tools and best practices.
- Create regular reports on automation performance metrics, campaign results, and ROI for stakeholders.
- Document processes and workflows to ensure consistency and facilitate onboarding of new team members.
- Develop and refine customer journey maps to identify touchpoints and optimize the customer experience.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in marketing automation tools or digital marketing (e.g. Google Analytics, HubSpot Certification, Marketo, Sprinklr).
