Role Outline
Operations Administrator is responsible to carry out duties to agreed level of performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of administration processes.
To ensure that all risks are identified and assessed by using recognized, formal and structured processes. To facilitate effective risk management, implement risk reduction measures and establish a SHE and Quality plan to achieve targets and objectives within a specific time frame.
Identify legal and other requirements and establish a system for early detection of noncompliance. Responsible for all SHEQ functions, checklists and audits for the DC.

Key Responsibilities
- Functions and activities – general administration
- Machinery and equipment checks with site management
- Occupational Health & Hygiene inclusive of the battery bay
- Responsible for auditing of all the functions to ensure that the requirements are constantly met at the highest standard
- Coordinate functions and training with the Operations Controller and the Operations Manager
- Assist Operations, DC Manager/ Operations Controller when required
- Enforce compliance to statutory regulations
- To assist with the induction and training of all new employees
- To promote a positive health and safety culture
- Assist with day-to-day Health and Safety issues
- Recording of PPE issues and monitoring their use
- All incidents/ accidents reported and recorded in accordance with company policy and legislation
- Proactive identify all risks and take appropriate action immediately. All relevant parties informed
- KPI’s are being met
- Implement First Choice
- Participation on stock take preparation, planning and physical stock count

Qualifications/ Skills/Competencies/Experiences
- Matric
- Preference of 12 years’ experience/ knowledge in the industry
- Languages
- English
