Responsibilities:
- Carry out field installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance and calibration of all Minerals products including Coal and Cement Analyzers on our customer site in South Africa and other Africa countries.
- Provide a post visit detailed service report after each visit to a Minerals, Coal or Cement plant describing the work you completed, and the value you added for improvement.
- Provide onsite service and remote support to other M & M product lines as and when needed including, BMH & PI, to assist the South African service team to meet their AOP.
- Deliver on site and in-house training of customers in the use and operation of the equipment and system supplied.
- Take an active role identifying, Product Support Agreements, isotope replenishments and disposals, and spare part's inventory to minimize down time.
- Maintain a record of sales opportunities that you uncover and actively work with the Aftermarket sales team to improve the bookings and revenue from these opportunities.
- Provide detailed input to the mineral’s product line strategy with the aim of sustainably growing revenue and customer happiness.
- Supervise sub-contractors on equipment installation.
- In house repairs to electronic/ electrical equipment where possible.
- Preparation for field work including, familiarization with the job, checking out/testing adequate spares, liaising with the client
- Promoting our products whilst in the field and giving feedback to the Sales Department.
- Do fault analysis, including replacement of cards. Re-programming and Re-calibration.
- Ensuring company vehicle is maintained in good condition
- Compliance with ISO 9000 and OSH 18001

Minimum Qualifications:
Instrumentation Trade Test Passed and N6 Instrumentation Diploma or Higher.
Preferred Experience:
- 5 Years Industrial Instrumentation
- Coal and Cement Analyzers.
- Understanding of the mineral’s applications and the role of online sampling and analysis working in close relationship with site Laboratories.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to seek and trouble shoot problems on site.
- Faultfinding on control panels.
- Interaction with customers.
- Willing to work when and wherever necessary in order to complete a job to customers happiness.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
