Your key responsibilities:
- Managing a team of production operators, assigning tasks, and providing direction and guidance throughout the production process.
- Working closely with planning and scheduling teams to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
- Ensuring all products adhere to quality standards and specifications, implementing quality control measures, and addressing any quality issues promptly.
- Identifying the root cause of technical issues or production problems and implementing solutions.
- Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimise resource utilisation.
- Training new team members and providing ongoing coaching and support to help team members develop their skills and improve performance.

You bring
- A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, or production, with 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and leading teams.
- Leadership experience in the food manufacturing industry, with excellent communication, numeracy, and computer literacy skills.
- Ability to identify problems and implement preventative strategies to minimise risk, along with skills in supervision, coaching, managing processes, and process improvement.
- Proficiency in tracking budget expenses, production planning, controls and instrumentation, and strategic agility.
- Collaborative team worker, passionate, results-driven, well-organised, analytical, creative, and able to function independently when required.
- Experience in IR-related issues, stock control, and familiarity with SAP is advantageous."
