Senwes is seeking the services of an HR Officer to provide comprehensive HR support in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management to ensure the efficient functioning of HR operations.
Job Responsibilities
Manage Recruitment, Acquisition and Selection.
- Manage the recruitment process for lower-level roles.
- Conduct job ads, screening, interviews, and selection.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience.
Oversee the Employee Appointment Life Cycle.
- Oversee the employee appointment process for lower-level roles.
- Ensure smooth onboarding.
- Prepare and manage offer letters and contracts.
- Conduct background checks and reference verifications.
- Facilitate new hire orientation.
Provide General Employee Support.
- Provide support to employees on HR-related issues.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in resolving employee conflicts.
- Maintain employee records and files.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Drive Performance Management.
- Support personal development plans.
- Monitor the implementation of performance improvement plans.
Execute Micro Induction.
- Ensure new hires are effectively onboarded.
- Monitor the progress of new hires during the induction period.
- Gather feedback to improve the induction process.
Manage Administration.
- Maintain HR records.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives.
- Assist with general administrative duties.
Promote Organisational Culture.
- Actively participate in fostering an organisational culture that embodies the values and principles of the Business Unit.
- Lead by example in demonstrating behaviours that reflect the desired organisational culture.
- Evaluate the current culture initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in exit interviews (critical and scarce positions) and data analyses to identify trends and areas for improvement in employee retention.
Manage Employee Forums.
- Assist with maintaining the Employee forums in the Business Unit.
- Monitor forum progress and conduct monthly reporting.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 1 year HR experience. Experience in recruitment and general HR support will be beneficial.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
