Purpose of the Position:
Lead user interface design solutions, delivering seamless, accessible, and high-performing experiences across platforms and devices. This role is responsible for crafting high-fidelity design solutions that reflect both brand consistency and user needs, while ensuring technical feasibility. The designer will drive design excellence through visual precision, usability, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to elevate the overall user experience.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers to deliver innovative design solutions.

- Strong understanding of UX/UI methodologies, user-centered design, and best practices.
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and the Adobe Suite.
- Maintain and manage comprehensive design libraries and design system, with adherence to product branding requirements, containing global assets.
- Measure the effectiveness of solutions to better understand user behaviour and improve solutions across platforms.
- Conduct market research (local & international) including users and competitors, conduct analysis, collaborate with key stakeholders and run workshops to understand UI design challenges.
- Base UI solutions on data/evidence, catering for business and user need.
- Justify design decisions and clearly communicate with client stakeholders.
- Document handover specifications for project/product features.
- Prototype solutions for user testing.
- Collaborate with UX designers in planning a wide array of usability tests, from start to finish.
- Keep abreast of the latest UI design trends and incorporate these into design thinking solutions.
- Work on multiple projects at one time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately.

- Present qualitative and quantitative insights to key stakeholders to deepen understanding of design solutions, user behaviour and inform product decisions.

- Manage Expectations, setting clear timelines and keep stakeholders updated on progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Evangelise good user experience, demonstrating measurable value to other team-members and stakeholders, and encouraging a culture of Design.
- Foster a healthy tension between stakeholders, encouraging discussions that consider business needs, user needs, and what is possible.
- Handle Conflict Constructively, by focusing on user impact and facilitating constructive dialogue.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/Multimedia/Communication Design, with 5-8 years UI design experience.
- HFI CUA highly beneficial.
- Proven track record of delivering user-centric design solutions for complex projects.

Experience
- Over 5 years of experience in UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work across multiple platforms.
- Solid background in designing experiences for mobile, web, TV, VOD, and other digital interfaces, with a proven track record.
- Extensive experience in design systems, prototyping, and visual design.
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and similar.
- Strong understanding of Design principles, responsive design, user-centered methodologies, and accessibility standards.
- Comfortable working within Agile environments, collaborating closely with product and development teams.
- Adept at understanding business requirements and crafting design solutions that align with technical constraints.
- Experienced in designing medium to large-scale software systems within environmental and business constraints.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly present and articulate design concepts, and product specifications to peers, executives, and customers.
- Actively work to optimize design solutions, improve usability, and enhance overall user experiences.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, consistently advocating for user-centered design.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and designing for inclusive user experiences is desirable.
