KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Provide Support to Stakeholders
- Provide the required information to walk-in clients.
- Direct walk-in clients to relevant departments.
- Communicate SDF activities and dates to stakeholders.
- Collect the meeting schedule from the reception.
- Administer meetings as scheduled.
Operating the Switchboard
- Answer incoming Calls.
- Transfer calls to relevant departments.
- Take massages and forward to relevant personnel.

Manage Reception Area
- Accept documents on behalf of the Chamber.
- Send communication to the Chamber to collect documents.
- Log a call when TETA phones are down.
- Order drinking water bottles.
Maintenance of the Office
- Ensure that the office is kept clean at all the times.
- Dust and polish furniture and counters.
- Sweep/ vacuum, polish and mop floors daily.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen area.
- Ensure that the kitchen is always tidy.
- Ensure that the fridge is cleaned at least once a week.
- Clean and sanitise toilets, countertops and sinks.
- Empty out dustbins every day.
Preparing Board Room for Meeting
- Book Boardroom for Meeting.
- Tidy boardrooms/training room before and after meeting.
- Supply cutlery for tea and lunch during meetings.
- Ensure that there is enough water jugs and glasses before meetings commence.
- Ensure that meeting venues are kept clean all the times.
Mentoring and Coaching of Intern
- Train interns on how to operate the switchboard.
- Motivate interns to contribute and support to team goal.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experience and qualification:
- Matric qualification. A secretariat/ administration qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as switchboard operator/ receptionist and 1 year of which should be experience in housekeeping or cleaner
Knowledge and skills
Knowledge and understanding of:
- Customer service.
- Knowledge of operating the switchboard.
- Paying attention to detail.
- Working independently and in a team.
Skills
- Telephone etiquette skills.
- Good interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
- Time management skills.
- Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Power Point.
