What we’re looking for:
We're looking for a EHS Specialist to join the team. The main purpose of the role is responsible for guiding and implementing occupational, health, and environmental programmes. Works in close conjunction with EHS Manager and Line managers. Normally reports to EHS Manager.
Accountabilities:
- Manage EHS operations to achieve the set goals.
- EHS compliance – trainings, coaching, medicals surveillance, toolbox talksManage, Updated and implemented SHE procedures
- Manage Investigated and reported SHE incidents
- Manage internal & assisted external SHE audits
- Managed compliance requirements with local authorities.
- Conduct Risk Assessment
- Compiling and Capturing on EHS monthly stats.
- IOD Management
- Drive the SHE committee agendaFacilitate external and Internal Trainings
- Update all EHS trackers.
- Implementation GEHSMS standards.
- Fleet Safety- coaching, transgressions and violations Contractor Management- Verification of SHE File, On-site Management of Contractor

Qualifications
What will qualify you for the role?
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma or Degree, 3-5 years relevant experience within the manufacturing environment.
- Risk Assessment ( HIRA) Computer skills.
- Business planning skills.
- Vendor management skills.
- SAMTRAC and Incident Investigation.
