Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Manufacturing department. We are looking for talented individuals with relevant skills and experience for an In-Service Engineering, at our various regions (Port Elizabeth, Polokwane & Devland) in CCBSA. The successful candidate will report directly to the Plant Manager.
KEY OUTPUT
To maintain (inspect and adjust) and repair equipment proactively as per maintenance targets in order to continually improve department efficiency, to optimize equipment availability and to minimize losses and risk.
KNOWLEDGE
An understanding of electrical, mechanical, physics and mathematics related to the engineering industry and practices.

- The ability to apply theoretical scientific principles in the development of novel business solutions
- Well developed decision-making skills
- Identify and apply new trends
ATTITUDE
- A passion for engineering and people
- High energy levels and a positive attitude
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 with Mathematics & Physical Science passed with 40% (NOT Mathematics Literacy)
- Two South African Languages passed with 40%
- Studying towards National Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related qualification
- Completed theoretical modules and require practical exposure to complete the qualification
- Willing to complete In-Service/ Experiential Training in Industry
- Must not have previously completed an In-Service Trainee programme at another company or organization
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be an Employment Equity candidate
- Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment
- Must be between 18-35 years of age
- Candidate must have a letter from the institution requesting work place experience for in order for the candidate to complete their qualification.
The In-Service Trainee programme runs over a period of 12 months.
