Mr Price Group is looking for a Reward Manager in our HR team. Keen to join this exciting, fast paced environment?
Job Purpose
This person structures their own day to provide holistic and complete total reward support to the Group Head of Reward and other key stakeholders. The main purpose of this role is to support the process of attracting, motivating, retaining and engaging the right caliber of associates in relation to the group.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise relating to the management and oversight of employee benefits.
- Provide fit-for-purpose recommendations to the Group Head of Reward on the suggested reward philosophy, strategy and policy for the Group to ensure it is reflective on current best practice and company values/culture.

- Align reward policies and procedures with governance standards and industry best practice.
- Keep abreast of legislative requirements and best practices to highlight risks to the business and ensure compliance at all times.
- Complete risk reporting as required.
- Assist in managing and coordinating reward projects, including but not limited to, benchmarking, strategic projects, equal pay for work of equal value, policies, complying with legislative requirements, reward strategy and philosophy.
- Co-ordinate and compile remuneration reporting and other similar reports and ensure it is in line with King IV and other governance.
- Prepare regulatory reporting submissions.
- Responsible for conducting research in areas regarding total reward to enable analysis and prediction of market trends.
- Makes recommendations in respect of the organisation's salary structure and fringe benefits to ensure the retention, motivation and recruitment of key personnel.
- Keep up to date with legislation, taxation and other items which affect reward.
- Job evaluation and benchmarking.
- Provide support and guidance to the reward team in the annual reward cycle of salary increases, short term incentives and long term incentives.
- Managing relationships with external service providers across the industry for the different areas of total reward.
Requirements
Education:
- University degree (HR or finance preferred)
Experience:
- 3-5 years relevant experience.
Knowledge/ Skills:
- Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, HR Systems (Sage, etc) advantageous.
- Attention to detail.
- Deadline-driven and able to work under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of governance, benefits and relevant legislation.
