Our Sourcing department is looking for a resilient and hardworking team player to provide effective and accurate administrative and general assistance to the Sourcing Team. Our ideal candidate will have high energy levels & the necessary passion required for a fast paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
New suppliers local and international
- Critical Path Management (CPM)
- Prepare CPM tracker
- Liaise with suppliers on a weekly basis with regards to critical path dates/deadlines
- Highlight and escalate risk
- Liaise with Buyers and Product Technologists on Purchase Order raising and fabrics/samples as per critical path dates/deadlines
- Liaise with Buyers and Planners on Purchase Order extensions and amendments
- Liaise with Supply Chain with regards to shipping and booking queries Consolidations
- Prepare CPM Tracker for selected programs
- Liaise with suppliers on a weekly basis with regards to critical path dates/deadlines
- Highlight and escalate risk
- Track replenish purchase orders against forecast

- Liaise with Supply Chain and Planner with regards to FCL consolidation
- Track fabric usage
- Processing consolidation samples
- Capturing cost prices
Supplier Relationship Management
- Prepare and distribute supplier dashboards
Project Coordination:
Quick Response
- Schedule meetings according to project plans
- Prepare CPM tracker
- Liaise with MDD weekly on production milestones
- Highlight and escalate risk
Qualifications
Essential: Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
Preferred: National Diploma in Clothing Management/ Fashion Design / Clothing & Textile Management and/or Certificate in Fibres and Fabric
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Jobrelated knowledge required:
Essential: Knowledge of suppliers (local & international) Knowledge of supplier relations management Knowledge of project coordination Knowledge of garment construction Knowledge of fabrics

Skills Required: Proficiency in the latest Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) The ability to:
- Communicate effectively both within, as well as outside the Company
- Build and maintain relationships
- Be resilient and maintain high levels of drive and initiative under pressure
- Prioritise and be assertive
- Work independently, with the ability to collaborate across various departments
- Be proactive, deadline driven and flexible to adapt to change
