Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our PAC Department. We are looking for a talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Regional Communications Specialist based in Pretoria. The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Public Affairs Manager.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
To oversee the execution of region-wide corporate reputation initiatives as guided by CCBSA Head of Communication and Regional Public Affairs Manager to enhance regional reputation with external stakeholders and employee engagement, buy in and support of regional objectives through the planning and management of internal communication channels to build relationships and engagement with employees by driving communication of credible, relevant and contextualised regional information. Oversee employees’ and stakeholder engagement events, supported by regional PAC Coordinator. Manage internal and external communication in the region
- Develop and implement internal communication framework aligned to the corporate communication framework

- Integrate divisional information with regional programmes and make it regional appropriate
- Ensure employees in the regions are adequately informed of company priorities, policies, and performance
- Advise on communication issues and methods for the region and coordinate message preparation and synchronised cascading of messaging
- Contribute content to the various regular in-house & external publications for corporate wide communication
- Manage communication process at the regions (plan, prepare, and execute)
- Continuously identify gaps to effective messaging and employee engagement through a structured feedback mechanism Support PAC Manager with External Communication management
- Be part of IMCR regional support and work with relevant internal functions and PAC Manager to see IMCR issues to conclusion
- Prepare Media holding statements for PAC Manager approval and issuing
- Execute regional stakeholder and implementation partner engagement events in support of regional stakeholder engagement plans
- Execute regional media activities as agreed with PAC Manager and Head Office
- Plan Stakeholder and Partner plant tours in support of Corporate Reputation enhancement and partner relationship building.
Skills, Experience & Education
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in communication planning and management at middle management level A sound understanding of corporate communication principles
- Experience in events planning and management
- Excellent writing skills and information organising skills
