PURPOSE:
To control all aspects of customer ordering and communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsibility for all incoming customer orders
- Understand and analyze customer schedules
- Complete order book reconciliations in the stipulated timeframes (weekly or monthly) as agreed with each customer and communicate violations with customer and all internal stakeholders
- Identify and communicate all risks internally
- Manage customer portals and specific order transmission tools and systems
- Liaise with customers on all queries or concerns
- Facilitate expediting and cancellation of orders
- Ensure all customer contacts and other pertinent customer data is regularly updated on the customer database

- Daily / Weekly contact with customers
- Ensure 100% delivery performance to all customers
- Analyze and report delivery performance
- Monitor performance and communicate concerns by liaising with other departments to ensure maximum performance
- Control all customer forecasts and ensure accuracy of ERP system
- Analyze customer order trends and communicate this with both customers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all required admin functions and activities are performed timeously
- Update all internal reports daily / weekly / monthly
- Review and report any new customer data, updates and changes that impacts the business
- Manage customer surveys, periodic customer certification and all specific customer reporting
Required Experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A National Diploma in Logistics or Equivalent
- 2 Years’ experience within a similar environment

- Computer Literacy (MS Office, with advanced Excel)
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Must be able to problem-solve and find solutions
- Must be performance driven and results orientated
- Must be decisive and take ownership
- Must have basic mathematical and numerical skills
- Must be a team player
